The video is a little close, I was thinking they would release the Salmon off of the dock & I would be a little closer but they decided to release them off the cement ramp & they were very close, hopefully I get some pictures & video sent from the school & I can post that too but here is what I have.

The school`s have hatched them, cleaned & fed them for 6 months & they will soon be back in the wild to live their 3 years before returning to spawn, already looking at expanding the Program in the fall of 2016, if you have a school interested let me know & we can add them to our list.

After having a mix up with the Bus things got straightened out & they made to Kincardine about 40 minutes late but all the Salmon were released & the Lighthouse & Trout Hatchery were toured before heading back to the school.

Hanover Heights were at the Kincardine Lighthouse & Trout Hatchery for their Salmon Release & tours, 41 students 9 Parents & 3 Staff had a great day & beautiful weather to boot, always love to get the Thank You cards they make too.

You sure would think it was foggy in Kincardine today it sounded like every student that toured the Lighthouse today was blowing the fog horn lol, Adults & students enjoyed the tour & made it to the top to look around, it was nice that the weather held off so they could enjoy it without the rain, lunch was at the Rotary park after the tours were done.
There were lots of questions especially about the invasive species samples that we have.

Very excited to announce I'll be joining these companies to help promote their products on & off the water, check out their websites & watch for updates throughout the season.
In the cooler with the bubbler hooked up in my van
Getting ready to net them to let the students release them
Mostly serious picture
Starting to be goofy
Fishy expressions lol
The student split into 2 groups to tour the Lighthouse & Trout Hatchery than switched & toured the other one, video to follow just uploading it

This is part of the tour the Students will see when they tour the Hatchery, it's hard to get much video or pictures when you are doing the tours by yourself so I did a walk through before the Students came back from the lighthouse tour enjoy, the year old Rainbows were released April 23-24 so we missed them. Fish mounts, Invasive Species, Rainbow Trout Eggs, Brown Trout, & the Waste water settling pond.

Slipped over to the School to pick up the Salmon from the JK/SK Class & head to Kincardine to set up for the release, after the release they all headed over to tour the Lighthouse first than came back & had a snack to have enough energy to tour the Trout Hatchery lol. This was my First School were I started the Classroom Salmon Hatchery Program 6 years ago & Tawnya made sure they were on the list for next year all ready.
