Lake Huron Fishing Club & the Ontario Steelheaders are the Conservation ...

Early Friday before the opening day they hold a Sport Fishing Industry Breakfast were Outdoor Canada Field Editor Patrick Campeau was inducted into the Canadian Angler Hall of Fame, Queen's University Fisheries Biologist Bruce Tufts received the 2014 Rick Amsbury Award of Excellence & the LHFC & O.S. were introduced by Darryl Choronzey before they receive the Conservation Award. Darryl being Darryl you know it wouldn't be a short introduction, letting people know the history behind the O.S. & how the Partnership came about between the O.S. & LHFC, where the Saugeen River was 10 years ago with numbers as low as 3,000 Rainbows running the river & how much it's grown to date with numbers between 45,000 & 50,000 Rainbows last spring. Here's to the Future of the Saugeen. Tight Lines Richard.
